INHUME - "In for the Kill" - 16 Songs - 31:58 - Osmose Productions
Was Inhume hier auf "In for the kill" so alles auskotzen ist schon ziemlich beachtlich.

INHUME - "In for the Kill" (2003) CD
Inhume continue with the same torture tactics with this, their 2nd full length album, as they have utilized before this. All-around brutal death 'n' grind metal is easy way to describe the sound what Inhume make.

Inhume's style haven't changed much from their first demo released back in 1995. Shortish (from under a half a minute to 3+ minutes), brutal blasts of violence and gore is what Inhume do. Even though the band's style can't be called original, it has one big plus compared to many a grind metal band: The songs are complete, not just short repeating of the same riff and beat, but no solos or guitar leads either. I quess it is those death metal influences, then, that make this more interesting in my ears. Inhume do not slip once from their brutal ways, not for very long time, just for some more groovy parts. The album is short, but still this 30+ minutes of mayhem is enough, in my opinion, because of the similarity of the material.

The sound is massive and raw as a eating still steaming intestines, but whereas those guts are slippery and uneasy to digest without making a mess, 'In for the Kill' is well-balanced and meaty sounding album. One of the best in its kind, never polished but more like live sound. Powerhouse drumming is something worth the mention, even though not totally flawless, but with this pace it is an achievement. Vocals are, surprise, done in two different voices; one gut-dep growl and the other is boisterous throat ripping shreaking.
One of those grind metal albums that interest me. And since I'm not following the scene, I think that is enough written. Does what the album's title promises. Nice cartooney cover art, by the way.

INHUME - "In for the Kill"
It appears that Osmose is delving into the Netherlands' deep brutal death metal scene. Last year they signed Houwitser, now they snatch up Inhume. Inhume started their career about nine years ago. Their death/ grind sound drew heavily from bands like Carcass, Napalm Death, and Terrorizer. Several line-up changes ensued but Inhume recorded several demos and seven inches. In 2000 they released their debut, Decomposing from Inside. A four song demo, which included a cover of Regurgitate's "Genital Cancer" caught the ear of Osmose who signed Inhume for In for the Kill.

This is truly an extreme record. The pace is blindingly fast and chaotic, occasionally you can make out some cool guitar riffs, but the concentration is on speed. The vocals are ridiculously poor. Not only are they in that gurgling, inhuman vein but often they are so low in the mix that the band would sound better without them. Only some killer brutal riffs save In for the Kill from being a total mess. Carcass and Napalm Death did this way better fifteen years ago. If you want great gore grind just visit any band on Razorback Records' roster.

INHUME - "In for the Kill"
Without any doubt, this is the best Inhume ever. Goregrind with two-minute average songlength topped by excellently clear and crushing production. Songs, which use grind and death metal elements, are played with muting enthusiasm, and the vocalists excellent contribution guarantees the quality.
The basics are handled with mere perfection.

INHUME - "In For The Kill" - Osmose/Zomba Distribution
Inhume + superproductie = blind grind aanschaffen. Wat kan het leven soms eenvoudig zijn…

INHUME - "In For The Kill" (Osmose/Indigo) (31:58)
Das Brüll-Kreisch-Frontduo geifert dabei durch leckere Titel wie ´Blood Orgy At 7th Street´ und ´Incineration Of The Body By Own Will´.

INHUME - "In for the Kill" (Osmose Productions, 2003)
Dutch death-grinders Inhume have found a new home at Osmose and celebrate it by treating us to their brand new album _In for the Kill_, a sixteen song journey into the depths of torture, mania and mayhem. Those familiar with their previous albums don't need any further introduction and only need to be assured that the songs are even more violent and the production has turned up a notch. Those not familiar with the band should feel very ashamed of themselves, and then be on their way to the record store. Why? Tight drumming, a dense bass-guitar layer, and excellent grunting -- guttural, yet reaching highs and lows in frequency. Inhume is still top-notch entertainment for those who've become bored with Cannibal Corpse's umpteenth album yet refuse to sacrifice listening to quality material.

INHUME - In For The Kill - Netherlands - 2003
"In For The Kill". Well, it's obvious that those nice Dutchmen haven't come here to amuse you, but mostly to decimate your ranks with their ranger boots, and then to achieve you with baseball bats… This Grindcore band has already begun to get its name out lately, but now they are opening to themselves the door that will give them the access to the first league, with an album that really efficient in this violent Grindcore style.
It's blasting all the way, the drummer is on full speed, the guitars are really strong and groovy, and the singers are tearing their voices apart, whether singing like a huge disgusting pig, or like a profound psycho locked in an asylum. "In For The Kill" will make you remember the best years of Grindcore, may it be with old CARCASS or REGURGITATE. Of course, those who don't like noise that much will go elsewhere and check if we're still there, but anyway, after a few beers, here's a band that will give you some energy and the will to go headbanging while kicking your neighbours! INHUME - In For The Kill
16 tracks - playing time: 31:58 min. Osmose Productions

What do you get when you combine insane screaming vocals, unearthly guttural vocals, a frantic drummer, barbaric string bashers and one of the most intense live performances I`ve ever seen? INHUME off course!!! These Dutch intestine tossers have built quite a respectable name for themselves and with their latest output In For The Kill their star will rise to even greater heights.

16 tracks of insanely aggressive gore grind are fired upon the innocent and if you`re not man (or woman) enough to endure it you get hurt. Hurt really bad…which is what Inhume are aiming for off course. This is an ongoing avalanche of superior played grind with lyrics literally splattering in your ears, puked out by a duo of depraved vocalists.

When the blood and puss is dripping out of your ears and you beg for mercy they will surely not give it. Never! Track after track grinds the bones of the unlucky that fell into the clutches of these psycho`s.

With this type of music it`s essential you listen to it a few times before you judge it. The first time you listen to the album all the tracks sound more or less the same and the album rages on and on like a bull on speed, but after a few times the tracks will get their own identity more and more. Track 11 for example, “Bowel Movement” was also recorded for the Osmose promo which was later released as part of the Dutch Assault Compilation released by Relapse (a review can be found here ). This is my personal favorite but maybe this is because I already knew this track some time. Anyway, listen to In For The Kill and prepare to be shredded to pieces.

INHUME - In For The Kill - Osmose Productions - 2003

INHUME - In For The Kill - 2003 - Osmose Productions/Next Music

INHUME - In For The Kill - Osmose Productions, 2003
This is intense, bonegrinding grindcore inspired by bands like Carcass, Napalm Death and Terrorizer. These Dutch guys have been together since 1994 and have featured musicians who have played with other well-known bands from the country such as God Dethroned and Sinister. Now it's time for their second (de)composition of light speed songs with ultraguttural vocals and sick Autopsy styled lyrics. They have also signed a new record deal with French specialists Osmose Productions who always managed to find extreme quality acts and should be able to give Inhume the support which they need and deserve. 16 tracks in 32 minutes means that these guys shred away at a furious pace right from the start. Not the absolute best the genre has to offer but it is well played, tight and definitely of interest if this is your cup of blood (sorry, my puns get worse and worse, I know...). No rest given, no prisoners taken, this is music exclusively meant for those of you twisted individuals who are "in for the kill".

INHUME (HOLLAND) IN FOR THE KILL (32:00) OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS
Most grinders are already familiar with one of the leading acts from the Dutch grindcore scene, Inhume. Quite a few releases have already settled the name for a huge amount of sicko’s all around the world. The heaviest strike was done with their debut album “Decomposing From Inside”, which was released by the highly acclaimed label Bones Brigade. The band gained the main attention of both fans and press, it got great reviews and that is why everyone was waiting for the follow-up by these Dutch rotten freaks!

It was a long wait for the die-hard fans. Three long years for the new attack… But let’s be honest, this was worth even a ten-year long wait if necessary. Goddamn, I have been blown to bits and pieces by this new album. Some people say that the first album won’t ever be equalled. Fuck them! This is far more brutal and the main thing is not a musical change, because the that's somewhat the same from its predecessor, but it’s a production-aspect that made this album being one sickening maggot pile. The main thing that pops in mind while playing the album is something like: “Damn, this is pure terror”. The hysterical vocals, the immense speeds and the thundering drums make this just one rush, for the first listen. More spins will turn your mind, and this one will develop itself in to a revolting clot of rotting bowels, which is called Inhume. Definitely and indispensable Inhume. I have nothing to complain actually, but I would like to hear some more slow and groovy parts. That makes this album a little more varied, but that doesn’t make this album a band one. Because if you like a fucking heavy grindcore album, pick this one. And play this LOUD you pussies!

Inhume 'In For The Kill' 2003 | Osmose/MIM
Inhume have unleashed their sick madness once again in the form of a mutilated piece of grotesque art named “In For The Kill” , which is the follow up to their disgusting debut “Decomposing From The Inside”.

There is no mercy here, only full steam ahead grind in its filthy best , if you are expecting something nice , go somewhere else , because here you will find maggot ridden , chainsaw guitar laden ,blast beat hammered artistic filth in its very ugly form.

There is absolutely no question that Inhume do what they do well, it seems that there is starting to become quite a stir (for a better word…) for grind in its extreme form that is represented all the way through “In For The Kill”.
These guys have what it takes to make you sick and regurgitate every single note on this album and for this full marks go to them.

The production is flawless in its relation to the music and with song titles like “Fucked With Paranoia”, “Blood Orgy At 7th Street “ and the brutal “Genetic Intervention” , who would want it to sound as if it came out of a crystal clear production house, this is where “In For The Kill” has character .
Standout songs for me where “Scourging” , “ Profound Presumption “ and “Inhume”.

If you are looking for something with a bit of extra kick in your diet then “In For The Kill “ is just what you need.

In For The Hume
“The new Inhume… that must be a great album” was my first thought when seeing this new release. And I was not far from the truth; the new Inhume entitled “In For The Kill” is indeed a great record. Despite it not being completely my style as there’s lots of screaming in it, which I’m not a big fan of. I’m more into just the plain grunts and growls but there’s plenty of that on this disc as well.

The Dutch grindcore pride Inhume has been together for 9 years now and this is only their second full length album. Seems pretty weird, but it does suit the scene, I guess. They’ve released a couple of split CDs and demo’s, which are all self produced. Now they have signed a deal with Osmose Productions, marking an important step in getting bigger and better as a band. They absolutely have what it takes to become a big name in the grindcore scene (if they aren’t already). If you don’t already know them that is because the name, you will soon enough. Inhume is spreading faster than the deadliest disease around. You’ll be wiped away before you know you even got hit by this brutal and fast playing monster. With a great brutal grunt, sick screams, heavy guitar work and always plowing blast beats. There are sixteen blasting songs on this album clocking no longer than three minutes with exception of one track. This album truly gives you the whole grinding deal, inspired by bands like Napalm Death and Carcass. They produced a great album that proves them ready to leave the small country of Holland and conquer the whole of Europe with their ruthless grind.

This will not be the last we hear from Inhume, they are currently touring through Europe with Exhumed and Cephalic Carnage, both bands from the USA. If they play in your area some time, you should absolutely go and see them raise some hell and stack some corpses… They deserve it.

INHUME - In For The Kill - Label: Osmose/Indigo - Erscheingsjahr: 2003

INHUME (NL) IN FOR THE KILL
With their second full length the Dutch maniacs of Inhume deliver the filthiest album of the year. The album is full of soiled grunts, disregarded growls, crumpled screams, drums as tight as the body of Elle Macpherson, guitars with the intensity of a blast-furnace and a vicious dirty bass that make your blood boil.

This well organised cumbersome violent noise attack is divided into 16 deathly grind masterpieces. The production is major which gives the album a very rich brutal sound. It makes cotton buds unnecessary to get your earwax out. It feels as if the band is playing behind you on full power and attacks your auditory centre. Never has a torture orchestra been such a pleasure. So watch out, because the glorious convulsions of this death squad are driven on anger and could be your fatal crash. But if you know how to handle it, it's like heaven on earth, as if you're having sex with Salma Hayek in "From death till dawn".

Inhume definitely steamroller their opponents and "In for the kill" is the inaccessible merciless ruler of the year.

INHUME - IN FOR THE KILL - OSMOSE
Inhume is the post-apocalyptic cousin to Napalm Death. The best representative for the band's all-out grindcore assault is the creature on the cover of the album. He is out to kill, rape and ravage and will not take 'no' for an answer. The vocals are of the 'tunnel-of-wind' variety, the drums blast to eternity and the guitars outlast the drive of a buzzsaw by a long shot. Having said that, In For The Kill commits the deed via sixteen songs in just half and hour. With a tempo change as likely on an Inhume album as something nutritious in a bucket of KFC, the Dutch monomaniacs have created the year's ultimate tribute to (a)musical insanity.

INHUME - In for the Kill - Osmose
Dutch grinders Inhume are back with their second full-length after 3 and a half year. It’s their debut on Osmose and it’s a fucking smack in the face. 16 tracks of relentless grind and played as tight as an infant’s arsehole. The album was recorded almost live in Franky’s Recording Kitchen and it really sounds brutal. The sound is really good if you compare this to the big pile of grindcore releases. In for the Kill is also the last recording on which you can hear vocalist Johan, who has left the band. But according to their last live-performances they managed to get a proper replacement to carry on in the dual vocal-style Inhume always had. There’s really not much more to tell about this album ‘because it simply speaks for itself when listening to it. Indeed one of the most brutal releases from Holland this year.

INHUME - CD IN FOR THE KILL
Tudo aqui é feito a base de extrema brutalidade e profunda agressão, sonora e retórica, pois títulos como "Bitch Redecoration", "Fucked With Paranoia", "Blood Orgy At 7th Street" e "Sodomizing Encounter" não me deixam mentir.

INHUME - In for the Kill
"In For The Kill" jest pozycją zdecydowanie skierowaną głównie do fanów grind core (czytaj: stare Carcass, Regurgitate, Napalm Death) i gore (choćby, dla przykładu, Mortician).

- Thaumiel], do skrajnego obłędu... niby nic, a jednak ile czasem daje to radości!

INHUME - In for the Kill - CD - Osmose Productions
Inhume on ehtinyt jo toiseen täyspitkäänsä, jolla meno tuntuu kiihtyvän entisestään. Nämä puukenkien maasta tulevat veikkoset soittavat kiivasta grindcorea, jossa on hyvin goremaiset lisämausteet.

INHUME - In For The Kill - Jaar van release: 2003 Label: Osmose Productions

Inhume - "In For The Kill" Osmose

INHUME: In For The Kill - Osmose
Jo vuodesta 1994 äärimmäisen gorekasta grindcoreaan jauhanut Inhume on uransa aikana ehtinyt julkaista yhden seiskatuumaisen, sekä pari demoa ja splittiä. Viimein vuonna 2000 näki kalsean haudanvalon alalla kovan maineen omaavan Bones Brigade levy-yhtiön kautta julkaistu debyyttipitkäsoitto Decomposing From Inside, joka esitteli tätä Alankomaiden verivetoista tuotetta laajemmallekin yleisölle.

INHUME - In For The Kill (Osmose Productions/M.A.B. Records)
Hudebně ovlivnění sebrankami typu Carcass, Napalm Death a Terrorizer a z hlediska textové složky silně inspirovaní Carcass a Autopsy válcují veškeré zažité postupy, jež v myšlení normálně uvažujících hudbymilovníků předepsaně činí muziku muzikou.

INHUME - In for the Kill - Osmose

INHUME - In for the Kill - Osmose / Audioglobe

EHI!What`s that? What`s that noise?Ehi! They have a problem or what? Blurgh! Blurgh! Ahr!BleaAAHRGH!

Per me no.

Inhume - In For The Kill Released: 2003, Osmose Productions
If bands like Hate Eternal are too slow for you and you scoff at the lack of gore in Cannibal Corpse’s lyrics, check out Inhume. On IN FOR THE KILL, the Dutch band cranks out 16 songs in 31 minutes and each one is similar to the next in speed and aggression. This is straight-up brutal death/grindcore. Inhumed isn’t exactly reinventing the wheel but they do throw in the odd guitar solo to break up the monotony. What always impresses me with music like this is how the drummer is able to keep up the frenetic pace. Granted the songs are short but to play these live for 30-45 minutes straight must be absolute torture! The vocals are double-tracked Deicide-style, with a low, guttural growl on one end and a piercing shriek on the other. Production is surprisingly strong for this genre however the vocals do suffer from being buried a bit too low in the mix. One thing that grabbed my attention immediately is the cool cover featuring what looks like a blood-drenched giant man/machine ripping through a sea of bodies.

As far as originality goes, Inhumed is going through the motions of what bands like Napalm Death and Carcass were doing in the late 80s and early 90s. The songs lack in variety and I defy anyone to tell the difference between them but if you want a hard-hitting grind album, pick up IN FOR THE KILL.

INHUME: In for the Kill

Herrlich!

INHUME "In for The Kill" (Osmose Productions/Audioglobe)
Come prodotto "commerciale", invece, quale sarebbe il giudizio finale per "In For The Kill"? Boh?!

INHUME "in for the kill" cd (osmose productions)

INHUME - In For The Kill 2003
Hollantilaista sikalametallia tarjoilee Inhume jo uransa toisella pitkäsoitollaan.

In for the Kill tarjoilee 16 raitaa brutaalia death metallia, jotka olisi voinut typistää yhden raidan mittaiseen demoon, sillä kappaleet eivät eroa toisistaan oikeastaan yhtään.

INHUME - In For The Kill (CD - Osmose Prod - 2003 ; 10 titres - 32 min)

Anzi, prima di chiudervi, areate prima di soggiornarvi. L'ossigeno sarà indispensabile. A questo punto potete cominciare ad ascoltare "In for the kill".

INHUME - In For The Kill - Osmose Productions
Okay okay. If you’re a Dutch grindcore fan, you’ll know that I’m far too late with this review because this album was released in September of this year. But for the people who still care, here comes the pain!

Normally you’d expect a reasonably soft intro to a CD, but not this one. No you get immediately thrown into the living hell that is Inhume. “Incineration Of The Body By Own Will” is the first track that will start incinerating my hearing organs. And immediately on this track you’ll notice how great they are at making grindcore. Really really good drumming, a brutal bass distortion, screaming mad guitars and some vocals that will your mother burn your CD and send you to church. But hey, it’s time to grind!

Numbers to be told about on the musical territory are “Inhume” for it’s brutality and speed (while you can say that about almost every song!), “Prelude To Human Confinement” for being even more brutal en shorter (41 seconds to be exact), “Decimated Content” for having a really cool drum intro followed by a bassdistortion that I find so fucking cool! “Profound Presumption is also a really brutal but short track, it lasts about 28 seconds of braintorturing soundwaves. Cool!

Then I just have to make a comment on some of the lyrics. There are a couple of cool ones, like “Genetic Intervention” which is against cloning, and “Blood Orgy At 7Th Street” which is about killing hippies. Fun! But then again there are also songs about puttingyour phallus in a cow, called “Sodomizing Encounter” and one about having to take a shit, dubbed “Bowel Movement”. But you know what they say, extreme music, extreme lyrics. But then again, I can’t make out most of the lyrics anyway so it doesn’t bother me that much.

Although a lot of the songs don’t last longer than 2 minutes this is a fantastic album. Sixteen songs in 32 minutes of the extreme shit on this fucking rotten planet. Anytime, anyplace, anywhere! I really like the bass sound on the album because it makes such a violent noise you just start to smile if you’re a bass player. But if you’re a drummer, many people tell me that they consider this drummer to be the best death metal/grindcore drummer from Holland, so check it out. The vocals are really good too.

I certainly don’t doubt that we will here more from this fantastic band and I cant wait to hear their next album. Guys, keep on grinding!

Okay, ragge ragge ragge, hakke hakke hakke, chop chop chop.

INHUME - "IN FOR THE KILL" (OSMOSE)
Take a look at this cover punters - A blood splattered monolith rising from the depths of hell, crushing all mere mortals in its path. I’m not a massive fan of the genre, but I knew for sure, with a cover such as this and a title like ‘In For the Kill’ that this was going to be grindcore. Not that this is a bad thing; it’s just that Inhume (and many other grind acts for that matter) leave little to the imagination. If you’re a fan of extreme grind, then this will disembowel you.
Inhume hail from Holland and have been forging their sound around the European underground since forming in 1994. In For The Kill is the bands second full-length disc and follows up their debut release of 2000 entitled ‘Decomposing From Inside’ which was released on the Dutch Bones Brigade label. Now signed to Osmose Productions, it is clear that Inhume are going to be able to take their music to a much wider listening audience. Upcoming live gigs with other like-minded sicko’s Exhumed and Cephalic Carnage will also benefit this bands profile.
At 16 tracks in 32 minutes, In For The Kill takes no prisoners – it flies by in unrelenting fashion. From the opening mayhem of ‘Incineration of the body by own will’ through to the blood curdling dementia of ‘Retreat from Morality’, Inhume are solely intent delivery an aural assault without compromise. As such there isn’t a whole lot of variation going down on this disc. For grind fans, you know the deal – frenetic speed and blasting, a thick seething guitar production, dense as fuck bass lines and dog-vomit vocals spewed and spat out in one of the most incoherent performances since the recent ‘Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition (also on Osmose) disc. $50 grand to the first who can spot a lyric they can understand on this. It is impossible. But hey, that’s death/grind for you folks – sick, twisted dementia all the way.
As a grind act, Inhume are pretty darn good at what they do, although I’m not exactly sold on their style. Original it isn’t – but that’s not the point either. Like most other grind bands, Inhume worship the old school forefather like early Carcass, Napalm Death, Terrorizer and Autopsy. Inhume’s sound is a continuation of this style and if that’s what swings your axe, then you’ll find ample moments of regurgitated hysteria on this (s)platter. Add a top notch and much improved production and Inhume become just a little more worthy of your attention.
For me, Inhume are not the worst Grind act I’ve heard, but their style is rather one-dimensional. I prefer my grind somewhat more technical like the latest Aborted disc, but again that’s just me. Inhume will appeal to that massive grind audience looking for something new in the underground to cling to – they will find much to like about this band. Other than that, put this on 11 and witness total neighbourhood removal!

INHUME - In For The Kill (Osmose Productions)
A prime example of my most frequent criticism. Perhaps THE prime example of my most frequent criticism. For anyone requiring a demonstration of the oft-mentioned 'complete lack of variety = monotonous, one-dimensional aural torture' grumble, well, this is it. And what is 'it', exactly? 'Gory Grindcore'. Ultra-fast. Ultra-brutal. Equal parts glass-shattering screams and floor-trembling growls. Can I describe any aspect of 'In For The Kill' in greater depth than that? Not really. Can I reel off the highlights/ drawbacks of any one of these sixteen tracks? Nope. Is any one number even remotely discernible from another? HA! Stupid question. Ooh, apart from the duration, that is. Track number five, 'Prelude To
Human Confinement', is only 42 seconds long. The rest clock in at around two minutes.
For all its intensity, velocity and aggression - each pushed to the absolute max - 'In For The Kill' washes over me in a bland and increasingly irritating wave of sonic violence. Suffice to say this particular copy won't be encountering a CD player again. Ever.

Modern grind with few old riffs and a bit of death made harsher by several different hyperviolent vocals; very articulated songs in which the drumming and riffing are very fast. Not exceptional, though valid under lots of sides, recording included.

INHUME "In For The Kill" (Osmose Productions) 32:00min
I feel like I am not the right person to review this, for the main reason I am not a fan of Grindcore in the first place, and INHUME just play a pure form of this genre. "In For The Kill" is the second full length of this Dutch six-piece, and you can’t say they are up for variety while listening to this 16 tracker. All the "songs" sound exactly the same, so in the end be prepared to experience a compact sonic barrage whose the efficiency I have serious doubts about. To play an extreme form of music is OK, but you have to keep a little space for variations, breaks and tempo or atmosphere changes to maintain your listeners on alert. This is a tactic INHUME chose to ignore while recording this, and this is too bad for both them and us. The main flaw of this record is the vocals, they are so outré that INHUME are constantly on the verge to become totally ridiculous. Come on, coupling the sound of an angry Daffy Duck with the distorted growl of a pig in agony (INHUME have two vocalists in their ranks) is fun during a very short time lapse and become annoying afterwards. I have no doubt INHUME will find their public despite this jaded review, especially if you consider the excellent sound quality of this record. It is just that they are a little too much for my personal taste. Recommended only for fans of straight ahead Grind.

INHUME - In for the kill (CD) death/grind (Osmose)
Inhume perform pretty standard death/grind with two vocalists and the expected element of hardcore/crust parts here and there. They do it well but are not exactly special or that interesting. Good for elevator music on the way down to hell I guess.

INHUME "In For The Kill" (Osmose Productions)
